What is the middle aged poem about platonic love between a married maiden and a lonely knight?

The maiden is married to a cruel old lord and is in love with a knight, as the knight is in love with the maiden. They never talk, just look at each other from the courtyard. It is a poem about platonic love.

2. it's driving me crazy. can't find it anywhere. sounds like a variation on Tristan and Isolde, but every version of that i can find they actually have an 'affair'.
