What is the easiest romance language to learn besides spanish?

Im just curious. Wich romance language takes the least amount of time. Spanish not included.

1. Er... well, I guess I would say Italian or French... I don't know about how long they would take to learn, though I'm sure they may be a little easier since we borrow from them so much with the English language. But they're both definitely romance languages.

Each Romance language is around the same level If I would rank them it would go (for the main ones) Easy to hardest Spanish Italian Portuguese French Romanian The reason I put Portuguese and Romanian lower was because there is not as many resources for them in the U.S. I think French would probably be the actual hardest to learn. They are all around the same level but if you think about what resources you have then it makes it easier. Portuguese and Spanish are probably the most similar Italian is very similar to Spanish too (Portuguese is prob a tad bit more though) Romanian and Italian similar Follwed by French and Romanian But again, they all have major similarities and around same difficulty (it would not make a major difference maybe a couple of days, weeks, or month difference in learning the language--which is not major in term of learning languages) --It comes down to the resources available and Romanian and Portuguese have the least in the U.S. compared to the others
3. Portuguese and Italian are about the same as far as the level of difficult is concerned.
4. Of all the romance languages Portuguese is 78% similar to Spanish so if U know Spanish you virtually know portuguese my best friend learned it in 6weeks,,, the hardest is French,,,, Spanish and French have less than 34% words in common. Spanish and Italian have about 73% of words in common,,,, so yeah I would choose Portuguese
