Married couples and single moms are very welcome to be friends with me here. Sometimes, I love my wife dearly and sometimes, I hate her to death. This is insane and crazy, that I live in a mad house. Not filling eachother needs enough. I am younger, I want more. He is older than me so he wants less. The rest is actually perfect in my marriage. How about you? Thanks.
In a perfectly happy marriage, is it normal for a happy Wife to text this? My Wife is at work and is texting me from there, but she's not being so lovey. Is this normal for a perfectly happy Wife? I think i might be being a little silly because i'm young, but i get afraid when she doesn't call me a pet name or say lovey things over texts, i feel like i'm turning into just a best friend, is this silly?

What are the keys to a long happy marriage? Lots of post on here about the idea of being in or out of "LOVE" and sex issues. I have been married for 11 years. I think too much gets made of sex issues in marriages. It is important but is it a measuring stick of a good marriage. I also think that sometimes the "feeling in love with someone" get blown up so much no one could live up to it. At all times during our marriage I feel a bond with my wife. Maybe a combination of trust, caring, dependability, familiarity, friendship, sex but I do not always feel that intoxicating feeling of “LOVE” for her. At least for us marriage is not always easy thing but we have been able to make it work so far. So what do you think are the keys to a long marriage?

What is the secret to having a happy, loving, successful marriage? I have been married about 2 years and we are only happy sometimes. Other times, I think my husband wish we had never gotten married. I want to have a happy, loving, successful marriage, but am unsure of what to do. We have no children yet, and we both work full time. We don't share the house hold responsibilities ( I clean 95% of the house, do all the cooking, and I am in school part time). He maintains the yard-3/4th acre- and changes the oil in the car. My husband is a bit controlling and insensitive. He says I am messy and emotional. What should I do?
